It was over 20 years ago when Peter walked in through the door of the company where I was working at the time. I was without an investor, already investing and contributing money regularly and looking for a new direction. His timing was right. Peter had a no nonsense way of explaining aspects of the financial world that was fairly new to me. He actually made it more accessible.

I took a chance and gave him the pension fund I started building with a previous employer to manage. When he did well with it, I became comfortable investing more and more as well as having Peter look after my mortgage when it came time.

A few years after that, I met the man of my life, Charles.
